This is a technique I learned from a tutorial by Lindsay Adler, a NYC fashion photographer on how to shoot specifically for wrapping a texture image onto the photo using the highlight/shadow contours of the body, afterwards in photoshop. Model is my wife who sat through hours of photo shoots to get the required, right balance of highlights/shadows for the most realistic effect.

This finger puppet week was total fun, thanks for riding along! I think it will definitely make a comeback sometime, especially if I score a new puppet one of these days.

I decided to take a photo of my digital bodies. It would have been nice to put my LX1 in the frame since it shares a lineage with my Leica, but I needed it for the shot.
For some reason Panasonic Pictbridge only imports the JPEG, not the RAW. I’m too lazy to go back and get the original image, which is, much better than the imported one (it better be, the file is 13x bigger!). Live and learn.
I did learn that the Aperture RAW has a slightly different interpolation (a few less pixels) than the Panasonic JPEG. it’s also less noisy and the color is better. Neat.

Two monsters! BMW X5 Hamann and Porsche Cayenne Mansory! These two cars will be perfect escorting a supercar! :P
I simply adore them! :)
