Nothing like watching geese fly west to roost at night. They are a beautiful noisy lot communicating every turn and Ariel formation. I was the only person on the beach to witness their splendor.
Nighttime view looking south from the 86th-floor observatory of the Empire State Building, showing the One Vanderbilt building. At night, this skyscraper transforms into a striking beacon on the New York City skyline, its sleek glass façade reflecting the city’s shimmering lights. The crown of the skyscraper glows with an elegant blue illumination, casting a calm yet captivating presence against the dark sky. This vivid blue light accentuates the tower’s sharp architectural lines, making it stand out amidst the surrounding skyscrapers.
I found this gap between moored boats in the harbour at Honfleur in October in the night before. The next morning before sunrise I set up between the yachts and watched the lights come on in the historic and picturesque buildings on the opposite side.

Something a bit different. Maybe not a true fence shot but cool nonetheless. This was shot on the fly sort of. No tripod etc.

Like the strings of a giant harp, the elegant cables of this modern bridge stretch across the water. In the background, the curved building glows in radiant blue, as if playing a silent melody into the night. The reflections on the river dance like notes on an invisible score, adding a musical charm to the scene. The artistic architecture of this bridge stands as a glowing beacon in the nighttime skyline, blending engineering and beauty in perfect harmony.
