They stand tall and beautiful, in the exact order that nature has placed them in. Tall pines in the embrace of a misty morning.

Found this fox about two hundred yards off the Beaufort Sea in Alaska's arctic. The hoar frost covered the tundra grasses, the snow blue with the low light of winter. Such a contrast between the warm red fox and the cool Arctic light.

Call of the Deep

By Sheree Zielke

Sincere the heart calls,

Sweetly she turns,

To see the frayed edges,

Of time, and intent.

Neither good nor bad,

But bent with much heat,

And despairing, she slips,

Beneath the cool waves.

Not missed, never caring,

Hands empty, knees weak,

Hunger deep, senses flaring,

She knows.

It's the call of the deep!

...land of long shadows,

awaits the traveler

the land of long shadows,

the rush is now behind

across the road,

a dark figure walks alone

he has only memories in his bag... and the trees of the forest protect him.

The words freely translated into English from the old Finnish folktale Land of Long Shadows ( Pitkien Varjojen Maa).

Hello lovely people, I wish each and every one of you, especially you and your dear ones, a very wonderful Christmas and holiday season and good luck for the new year 2024.

I'm going on vacation and I'll be back here with my photos next year, I hope we'll meet then... Best regards, Alice 🎄✨

As seen on a walk in Ponders End.

almost half year I'm gone and I am very sorry for not being around, and I'm back again to flick, It's good to be back,

Yesterday taken at Minato Mirai Kanagawa Pref.

The scoop in London offers many interesting compositions. In this photo, I included the Shard, tallest building in Europe. I have got a weak spot for glass buildings at night. I think they look awesome. On this particular night, there is a light drizzle. A wet surface affects how the colors and light shows. It is not wet enough for reflections, but enough to make the colors deeper and darker.
