Hong Kong translated means "Fragrant Harbour". This is what I call the blue skyline. Soon I will also post pics of the grey one.
Obviously this is a year old photo from my archives that I never posted. I saw a little Red Squirrel in my backyard for the first time in MONTHS!! And I mean, I have not seen a single one anywhere that I have been all Summer --- not even dashing across the roads as they are well known to do.
These tiny Creatures used to be my constant companions and my first love when it came to photographic subjects --- just look at how many photos I have posted -- and I assure you I have hundreds that have not been shared.
I did get a pic of the new Sweetie, but it was really just a flash of bright red tail (below) --- nothing could have made me happier Friday!

Believe it or not, these glasses were photographed on a sheet of window glass. The surface appears white because the light source is reflecting directly off the window glass into the camera.
This photo is an example of dark field illumination as described in Light, Science and Magic. In addition to the standard dark field setup, I gridded a gelled SB800 onto the background from underneath the table. This is the first time I've used my homemade black drinking straw grid. I love the falloff.

I wanted to do a stunning photo of my ring as it is rather special as hubby gave it to me on our 45th wedding anniversary (got married really young - yeah lol). But just couldn't make it work. So I found more blue items and came up with this shot, eventually!!!!! I think the colour is absolutely gorgeous. Both photos are SOOC
