Blue Tang.
This beautiful blue fish is commonly known as a blue tang in the Atlantic, but there are very different fishes called blue tangs elsewhere such as the Indian Ocean and the Pacific.

This was the Macro Monday from yesterday in its original colour version. It took the photos late, during blue hour, and this is the blue I got. I quite liked it but the MM brief said, colours were not acceptable. So I played with custom white balance as suggested and made it white.
Did you know that in the early 17th century, when 'tulip mania' hit Holland, prices of the recently introduced bulbs soared, some single bulbs selling for more than 10 times the annual income of a skilled craftsman! Today there are literally thousands of varieties available, in a stunning array of colours and forms.
Up on a hill, above the clouds. An almost clear dawn sky reflects off the fog below, giving it a wonderful blue tint.

Day 75 [3-15-2016]
Back at the beach. After classes today I went on a couple of walks. One with my good friend Charlotte and another with my cottage mates Erick and Andrew. I have missed these long walks where I can just talk and have good fresh air. I am kind of stressed from my work load as the semester is at its second half. Time to sleep for tomorrows early morning class.
Can't wait to see what the next day brings!
Azul es el color del mar, del cielo ...es un color que me invita a recordar buenos momentos...por lo tanto es el color que asocio a la felicidad
Blue is the color of the sea, of the sky ... it is a color that invites me to remember good moments ... therefore it is the color that I associate with the happiness
Looking up the top of the stairs at a nearby carpark. What a wonderful weather we are having today, with bright sunshine, blue sky and wispy clouds.
An early morning rise up to the top of the nearest hill (shot taken at 4.32am) during our holiday in the highlands of Scotland - rewarded with some great views of the setting moon and then the sunrise later on.
[Have been absent from Flickr for some months. Going to attempt to get back into some kind of routine of posting and commenting as time permits :) ]
I lived in a funny town
Where everything was upside down!
The birds walked and the humans flew
Where the trees were totally blue!
Trees talked and laughed a lot
They stole each other's fruit and fought
The bear was gentle, kind and sweet
He never ever ate raw meat!
Fishes went to school in a pool
Where a frog principal ruled!
Water was blue and the sky flew
And told me in life always be true!
In this funny town, upside down,
Nobody cried nor ever frowned.
