Lindsey, who's hosting the QAL just so happens to be using Ruby fabrics for her blocks too and when I saw this block of her's I just had to have one for myself too!

Natalia's scrappy Chrismas block. I used fabrics from Mary Engelbreit's Christmas collection, The Caroler.
In one of the piazzas, the city had installed benches made of marble blocks. The arrangement made them look moveable - as if you could walk over and rearrange them to suit your tastes. Nice balance of weight and perception.
