Block 1 now has some stitching on it.The bottom right hand corner is finished and the bottom left hand corner has been started.
I am not sure how to attach the round lace motif--any suggestions?
I think I will put this block aside for a few days and get started on another one because I seem to be getting bogged down--I am too much of a perfectionest for my own good.

Heil's Block in Ohio City, home of Nano Brew and Black Pig (the latter of which I'm eating at later this week)

What I like about this is that everyone knows what a block party is, and it relates directly to the Burning Man theme of Metropolis. When you look a little more deeply, the blocks are also contained in the grid of a grid sequencer. The blocks make the party.
I think this is a more memorable, pronounceable, and approachable name, but there's (understandably) inertia behind the existing name. We're a little late to the, uhhh, party on this one.
