I kept trying to get pics of that church, but a bunch of slow walkers kept getting in the way. Frustrating. But at least there were costumes. Check out the guy in the blue bathrobe.
This one I love because it is multi-directional! Had a lot of fun putting this one together because it was so easy!
Wrote a little more here.
Hexagon rose block for alysowl9 (Alice) for July in Bee Scrappy and Scrap Happy Bee quilt bee groups. Imitating the Tropicana rose (the photo makes the fabric look more red than it really is).

On a Sunday afternoon....since they've just been wasting away in the corner of my sewing room for the past 5 months, I decided to shake the dust off my blocks, and see if I could remember how this puzzle fit together. It was a little confusing at first, so then I had to go get my sketch to decide which block went where. This is just a small part of what will hopefully, someday, be Michael's JD Graduation Quilt!
Block 25 - Calico Puzzle
No time to procrastinate over fabrics this week so just grabbed the first 3 co-ordinating ones that came to hand. I am in the middle of renovating the bathroom and later in the week will be meeting up with magpie and kookaburra to spend 2 days at the Sydney Quilt and Craft show drooling over the quilts and of course doing some retail therapy.
