I chose to make this instead of the pyramide block

For the Nittany Block Party. Beth asked for half square triangles -- some form her fabrics, others from our stash.

I wanted to see how a 3D question block from Mario would look so I could draw up designs and mill something from a chunk of steel. Apparently this is what it looks like.

Nothing more solid than a base of granite blocks for a pier!

Starting to come out from under wraps after a multi-year restoration has the building cleaned up nice! Hopefully they'll do just as good a job on the West Block.

Hey Rebecca! I'm sorry the color isn't great on this photo! I'm still trying to get used to my cell phone's camera :)

There wasn't enough of your white fabric in the package, so I tried to add from my own stash as best I could - the white makes up the tips on the red flowers with the green background. I won't be the LEAST bit offended if you decide to rip this up when you get it and add in the correct color. I'm so sorry I didn't have the correct white to match yours!!

Lastly, I tried to fussy cut the green flowers as much as possible, but that was all I had to work with, so I tried to spread the love around :) I hope that this is what you were wanting!

Hugs!

My first (and only for a while - must get my other commitments done!) block - and I love it! Not my usual colours, but this is going to be a pretty, pretty quilt :o)

Loved this block! Came together quickly and easily. I decided to add in some Kona in Celery, as the other blocks so far all have a solid, and the block looked a little busy with all prints.

Somehow I left out the fact that this is a wine box. And not just any wine box. A Gundlach Bundschu Wine box circa 1986. It was given to me by www.zerotoboston.com in 1997, and in 1998 I visited Gundlach Bundschu with my friends Norman and Joan, returning home to South Carolina to realize what this box was. A fantastic winery! A fantastic box!

In camera image overlay of Julie blocking down simplot hill.

Block 4 tested my patience because the pieces were so small. I am not very good at handling little bitty pieces. It was worth it though as the block is a great pattern.
