this is some of the best fish i've ever tasted... it looks a bit dubious because i didn't arrange it but rather ate it before it got cold :)

I made braised black cod in a sweet sake and soy reduction for dinner tonight. It's one of Morimotos recipes, and it is awesome!
Bacallà gratinat amb all i oli de mel i confitura de tomàquet.

this is one of the plants that I scan halibut as they slide off the end of the table into totes. these are black cod, so its set up a little different than when its halibut. I scan the fish to find little rfid chips that were inserted in their jaw several years ago. when I find a tag, we can determine its migration rate from where it was originally tagged. you can read more about it here: www.iphc.washington.edu/halcom/scanners.htm
