Sorry, I'm pretty much always MIA now. But don't think I've stopped taking pictures; I actually shoot all the time and just don't upload. This is a habit I'm trying to break.
I've graduated from high school and am actually on a road trip with my family at the moment. We're driving all through the South, driving across Texas, through Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, and later on we'll be in North Carolina. It's really amazing to see so much of the country at once and to see all the different kinds of landscaping and people that cover the various states.
This is a beach that is located in a state park in South Carolina. It was the most hauntingly beautiful beach I've ever seen. I spent the whole 3+ hours taking pictures and then looking for shells and sharks teeth.
I found seven.
I cropped the main quite a bit so you could see more of the detail, but view here anyway.

Driving in the red centre of Australia can be a bit tiring since the distances are huge and some section being very similar looking for very long distances. This is an example of just that. The road was pretty much straight for somewhere between 50-100 km with a few very minor hills here and there as the only variation. The red centre takes it name from that it is in the centre of Australia and that the ground is, well - red... The colour of the soil comes from the minerals in the earth - primarily oxidized iron.

In a desperate search for a title for this (I'm really at a loss for titles lately), I searched for quotes using various combinations of words this photo made me think of, and "pond fairies" brought up:
The Doctor: Who's Amy? You were Amelia.
Amy: Yeah? And now I'm Amy.
The Doctor: Amelia Pond. That was a great name.
Amy: Bit fairy tale.
As a member of a family of Doctor Who geeks, this works for me.
According to Wikipedia - "The Rottweil Test Tower is an elevator test tower in Rottweil, Germany. It is owned by ThyssenKrupp. It is 246 metres tall, and was completed in 2017. It is the tallest elevator test tower in the world."
Personally, I don't think it looks completed (the crane give it away?) but it definitely looks like a drill bit for a drill.
I took this image handheld as we were driving out of the valley.

A bit unseasonal, but thought I'd add a bit of yellow to the top of my photostream. This was taken back in March and illustrates the various phases of daffodil cultivation that were on display at Tregantle in Cornwall.
Messing about with off camera flash and photoshop...i saw something simlar to this in a local restaurant and thought i would give it a go!

... a bit late but still. I've had all kinds of trouble with my account for more than a year now but finally managed to take action. Thanks to a most helpful Ben at Flickr support I might be on track again, looking forward to return on a more regular basis from now on.
Bit of a doodle planning a witchy rock. The name is subject to change, but I’m thinking her dress could be the Yorkshire flag colours and a white rose on her hat. She’s scattering magic cheese for the mice on Halloween....

This was shot after the Riikka-thunderstorm sweep across Finland. Never had the chance to witness so many different types of clouds forming during sunset.
Its hard figuring all these changes out.I wish they would stop messing with it. Hope it gets warmer soon.Lots of rain here. Thank you all again who have stuck with me here,and in prayers.
We finally had some sunshine today and it was my day off so I had a chance to photograph the siskins. Still a bit early in the year for good enough light so I had to push the iso up beyond where I would like to be.
