Here is another card using a different approach to the Retro Sketches #30 (retrosketches.blogspot.ca/) I used Paper Smooches stamps, Basic Grey patterned paper and a Fiskars border punch.

I just love how this card turned out! Check out the notes for more detail and you can click larger sizes to view itmore in detail.

•patterned paper: Echo Park Paper: Everybody Loves Christmas

•Alpha Stickers: Echo Park Paper: Everybody Loves Christmas

•Element Stickers: Echo Park Paper: Everybody Loves Christmas

•glitter: Stickles: Star Dust

•fluid chalk ink: Color Box: Blackbird

•scalloped border punch: Fiskars

Cut a 5"by 7" backside piece. Layer border strips and adhere to main piece- only on the very outside edges and only on the sides and bottom of the card. This leaves an opening on the top to slip in a vertical 4" by 6" Christmas photo.

I love Paper Smooches Boob Tube stamps set! I used it here along with Basic Grey patterned paper to make this cute Valentine card.

So I made this layout using some of the photos I took of Izzie a few months ago. While I love the layout it's missing...something I'm not quite sure yet. I might have to revise this one later. Oh and by the way, I have enough of these Thickers Shoebox letters to last me a lifetime so you'll be seeing quite a lot of them in future layouts. I bought like 3 or 4 sets a few months ago when they went on clearance.

Supply List:

Basic Grey patterned paper (Periphery), Bazzill Swiss Dots paper, Stampin Up Soft Sky card stock, white vellum, Fiskars Threading Water punch, American Crafts Thickers chipboard stickers in Shoebox font.

My forgetful son left his school bag on the school field the night it pelted down with snow. School was cancelled for two days and by the time he went back, he'd forgotten where his bag was. Luckily I figured out where it was because who knows when he might have gotten it back.

Created for the August 2012 BG blog challenge to incorporate typography in your LO. 812typography

I made this layout to participate in a challenge by BasicGrey. The guidelines were to use three photos, three papers, and three brads, with the freedom to add additional embellishments as necessary. I thought it might be a great challenge for these photos of my daughter last Christmas.

I used papers from three different BG collections here, and cut the ornament out from the backside of the green piece. Two of my brads bring texture to the ornament & snowflake and the third is in the tag on the title.
