Using a BasicGrey sketch for the NSD challenges... and some dusty old Offbeat paper (yes, I've been hoarding!). Diecuts are by Hero Arts for Silhouette.
I just got a pack of LilyKate papers from Basic Grey last winter, and was inspired into feeling wistfully romantic at the time, like that Ella Fitzgerald song "it Might As Well Be Spring" :-) tres sweet The girl is a quick sketch done with watercolor pencils and highlighted with a krylon gold leafing pen.
This is a card I did for Gallery Idol 2012. I used some retired SU paper on card base the was 4.25 x 6.5 inches (kraft card base). I stamped the sentiment (Stampendous) in Archival Black ink. I took some Basic Grey Little Black Dress paper, and with Hero Arts Latte chalk ink, stamped four butterflies. I adhered two butterflies where I wanted them, then stuck the other two butterflies on top, one using foam tape. The flower is from a SU die I think, a friend had made some and inked the edges, and it was the wrong colour, so she gave them to me
