Everything in life has to have balance

Young Kestrel male exploring and discovering things in a world full of unknown and mystery. A dead tree seemed to be of particular interest to this cute and playful raptor.

A closer look at those wicked clouds penetrates their nuances and reveals dimension. In turn the amazing sunset colors have me thinking of cotton candy and younger days. It was also convenient the blue sky left a reverse space somewhat equal to the mountain silhouette. This helps with balance.

I take a little holiday break !

Balancing act

In the light and on my feet. Two people, one on either side, to help push me to centre if I lean.

The last posted image was my first orange tip, this was the first butterfly i met this season. I found this peacock butterfly balancing on a cuckooflower a few days ago and fired a few times on him ;-)

It was very windy but due to the hard light that was no issue.

Taken with the sigma 180mm f/2.8 macrolens.

For 'MacroMondays' theme of 'Pink'

A very late reconsideration about this week's theme. Having passed this little flower on the usual morning walk it came to mind when looking at other submissions. It's a very unassuming little flower just less than 10mm across.

A bottle placed in the background provides some sort of balance to the picture.

Perhaps of interest to somebody, somewhere, is the use of the Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f3.5 70mm projector lens. Made for a 16mm film projector its a very small light lens with no aperture blades so used at f3.5. Great fun attaching it to the camera!

small oak leaf balances on magic mushrooms

This is a hedgehog style balance pod. An exercise tool. When I was in PT yet again this year, I used them there. Found them on Amazon.com so I purchased them for home use. My balance is awful! Won't bore you with all the reasons why ...

I was so happy when I realized I actually had something cool to shoot for the theme!

A litoria fallax frog on my second gardenia flower for this year. I think it must be incredible to be able to balance on a flower petal.
