Bagolino is a wonderful mountain village in the north of Italy, where every year, since a long time, an incredible carneval takes place.

A unique enclave of proud and smart people.

In the summer, the sun sets behind the Tetons but late light comes through several canyons or hits peaks offering the right angle. I've played with the colors a bit here.

This photo was taken to meet a challenge in 52Frames (backlit). My Grandbaby was "reading" her coloring book. Page by page she carefully looked at them all which of course gave Me plenty of time to catch her hand as she was flipping the pages and the light was streaming in from the window behind her. A lovely peaceful time was had by both of us! :)
