Excavator smashing up a piece of floor in what used to be the Mines Building at the University of Utah, while a couple of hosers assist.
This was shot from a cubicle near my own at work; audio is a bit of chatter by my coworkers. The dingbat in the bottom of the shot is a webcam somebody set up so they could watch the destruction from their desks.
I didn't manage to see or record any of the really good destruction, sadly. But when a big chunk of building collapsed, our whole building would shake. Neato!
This was a hole dad was digging to repair a crushed 15 inch tile. That repair was no fun. I had to wade in the mud.
Watch out for that bucket! I remember the hired hand we used to have working here. The bucket just about hit him one time, and he saw it coming. I've never seen him react so fast. He was a big guy and he just dropped flat in a blink of an eye. It probably kept him from having a "bonk" on the head.
