As part of my rehab for my back I am able to go for short walks. I decided to take my camera with me to the end of the street to shoot some of the heavy equipment at the construction site to process as HDR shots later.

I guess it could be Father, Mother and Child, but my first thought was 3 brothers...

On up the hill from that barn I found this backhoe, obviously waiting for the other equipment to show up so it can get about its work. I expect they're going to rebuild the drainage system under this field.

Case 580E Loader Backhoe

I increased saturation on the orange tractor and decreased saturation on the greens to make this mini-backhoe stick out more against the background.

This is technically my 100th photo but it wasn't that exciting so I switched it with the one of my son on his bicycle. (cheater...me? no never!) ;)

1/2" grade 5 bolts attach the thumb. Bolt head and nut at bucket shackle ground to half thickness for clearance.

Here are a few guys, out on a cold December night before the holidays. I try to present them in the best light, the best available light.

They really deserve credit for completing these tasks, late into the cold dark night. All in an effort to "Keep the water on."
