Decades ago, somebody buried this stream. It is flooding the property lower down, so J is excavating the old stream bed. The chickens love it, the land is drying and it is lovely to see.

Decades ago, somebody buried this stream. It is flooding the property lower down, so J is excavating the old stream bed. The chickens love it, the land is drying and it is lovely to see.
The Crowne Plaza near my house recently demolished the majority of the pine trees that once stood there, to make room for a new lane on the main road.
I thought hard about the crane man on this job. I learned a lot about how old construction works from watching this demo. Tough buildings, they admit it.
In preparation for Hurricane Hanna, the City of North Myrtle Beach removed anything that could possibly fly away. This is a box containing chairs and umbrellas.
