Decades ago, somebody buried this stream. It is flooding the property lower down, so J is excavating the old stream bed. The chickens love it, the land is drying and it is lovely to see.
After missing a shot in Hong Kong of this back hoe sitting perched on a mound of dirt framed by the building and gate, I've been trying to capture the same feeling of massive power in the rubble of it's destruction. unfortunately this wasn't it, but it was something.
Feature of Council feature on the work being done in Innisfail. Backhoes were involved in a lot of the work.
