My son is in his glory helping the pavers who are grading my driveway.

Muskegon is home to the 180th Transportation Company. I think that's where many of these vehicle came from.

There's some new houses being built by my place. This is the backhoe they've been using.

Just testing the Flickr post-to-vox feature. My Vox Blog is here. I post little stuff to it sporadically. This is a photo from outside where I swim. They are expanding the gym.

Me digging some holes with Brian's other larger backhoe. Good times.

Never seen this before. I was doing a timelapse of snow melting when I noticed the strange boat heading my way. I soon realized where it was heading and got my camera ready. Looks like they're putting a dock in for big ships. Possibly for the big war of 1812 reenactment. I've heard they're going to go all out for the 200 year anniversary. I'll surely get a timelapse of it all if I'm in the area at the time. I whipped up a quick song for this lapse, and realized that I have Massive working in Garageband. I downloaded Massive and tried to use it a while ago with no luck. But not too long ago I downloaded something so Grageband would recognize a different piece of software I wanted to use. Guess it worked for Massive too. Nice! www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjlwVgDHBLA

New Lawn Ornaments

I came home alst night to some new lawn ornaments. I would ahve taken a picture of the others, but they were working there. In all, about half my frontage has been taken over for staging equipment for the construction.

I got to drive that. It was fucking awesome, and my boyfriend is cooler than your boyfriend by ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE.

Kathy's Dad got a backhoe for his tractor and Kathy got to play around with it a bit. I went 17mm and got as close as I dared.

A backhoe, also called a rear tractor or back tractor, is a piece of excavating equipment or digger consisting of a digging bucket on the end of a two-part articulated arm. This parked backhoe was near a construction site in Robina, on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Cat Backhoe Loader doing some forestry work at the Hancock City Campground. I may have had to run back to camp for my camera when I saw this on my way to the showerhouse.
