I make this cake for my son 3rd birthday. Base cake for excavator is Mud cake by Planet Cake. The cake is covered with fondant and edible image for excavator windows. The sand are from Oreo crumbs. All part can be eaten, except for excavator arm & shovel are made out of styrofoam.

this is a backhoe. it was near lawrence right off of broadway. my dad runs heavy machinery on construction sites. i took pictures of it because it reminded me of him.
On March 6, 2006, I walked by a grandmother and grandson who were watching the construction of the Hoover Business Building at Elizabethtown College. I was touched by the boy's love for construction tools and asked to take his photo. His grandmother assented.
When this boy goes to college, I will probably have been teaching for quite a while. Will I be his professor one day?
