A different way for the loader to get loaded.

Cat Backhoe Loader doing some forestry work at the Hancock City Campground. I may have had to run back to camp for my camera when I saw this on my way to the showerhouse.

The backhoe originally used to drill the holes along top of the berm. Ground conditions called for more power and so a larger auger/drill was brought in to help out.

this is a backhoe. it was near lawrence right off of broadway. my dad runs heavy machinery on construction sites. i took pictures of it because it reminded me of him.

On March 6, 2006, I walked by a grandmother and grandson who were watching the construction of the Hoover Business Building at Elizabethtown College. I was touched by the boy's love for construction tools and asked to take his photo. His grandmother assented.

When this boy goes to college, I will probably have been teaching for quite a while. Will I be his professor one day?

this morning, the light was so fantastic that i ran out in my pajamas to get some photos.

Backhoe in Salem, MA

Never seen this before. I was doing a timelapse of snow melting when I noticed the strange boat heading my way. I soon realized where it was heading and got my camera ready. Looks like they're putting a dock in for big ships. Possibly for the big war of 1812 reenactment. I've heard they're going to go all out for the 200 year anniversary. I'll surely get a timelapse of it all if I'm in the area at the time. I whipped up a quick song for this lapse, and realized that I have Massive working in Garageband. I downloaded Massive and tried to use it a while ago with no luck. But not too long ago I downloaded something so Grageband would recognize a different piece of software I wanted to use. Guess it worked for Massive too. Nice! www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjlwVgDHBLA

the backhoe gets a cleaning and some tweaking so that it'll start. i have to say i'm impressed with anyone who can make any sense of this mechanical mess.

Along the causeway that links Ebeye Island to Gugeegue Island in Kwajalein Atoll a few large pieces of machinery can be seen, remnants of the work that was done to make the road.

Chance to get up close and see the real deal.
