New Lawn Ornaments
I came home alst night to some new lawn ornaments. I would ahve taken a picture of the others, but they were working there. In all, about half my frontage has been taken over for staging equipment for the construction.

A review of Google Street View indicates that this was actually 2 houses. The old wood-framed houses are slowly being removed and replaced by modern urban behemoths.
Redfin claims that one of the houses (4322 N Greenview), originally built in 1895, sold in 2015 for $765k. I don't know if that info is reliable but it seems about right.
A backhoe breaks apart secant pile guide walls used to help keep pile casings aligned properly. This is being done to allow backfilling and grading ahead of the 2014 holiday work moratorium.
This is turning out to be quite a problem - what to do with the dirt. Our lot is pretty big, but the addition is going to take a lot of space, so they are quickly running out of places to pile the dirt.
