My little neighbours, back from their evening school.
The sight of kids(especially girls) going to school is possibly the most positive thing in the country. I do beleive education can help us out of poverty, and these kids from the lower strata of the society need every bit of help and opportunity to educate themselves.

Well theFestive Holidays are over and its all back to normal , hence you will notice that my Christmas decerations are now down, mind you i didnt do it all on my own i had help, thanks to Fellow Flickrite MCWPD for lending me a hand during his lunch break. WEEK 26 – Aéropostale Closure, Southaven, MS
Here's a look across the store immediately upon entering. With discounts up to 90% off, it was pretty decimated at this point. A rough description of the layout here in better days would be to say that women's clothing was on the left and men's on the right along with the checkouts. Fitting rooms, as you can see, are in the back, and the corners around them were used for clearance merchandise mostly. Unfortunately, because I was shopping in addition to photographing, I neglected to take a picture of the men's section since that was where I was actively looking around :/

My third SHIP is done, crappy photos are done, editing will start today (sigh) so it's nice after a little break to return to some painting. Especially painting dark, mysterious, Romantic stuff :-)
This image was taken back in June. I was going to post it as her swan song image, as she had decided to step away from ballet. After a few months of gymnastics and missing performing in The Nutcracker; she has returned to her classes. She has a role in the upcoming performance of Beauty and the Beast. Hopefully that will hold her interest enough to get her passion reignited.
We'll see......

Saber-tooth: We aren't in the clear yet. I suppose the best thing we can do if the city is under siege, is to head out to the desert and get to our forward operating base.
Ace: Sounds like a plan.

Ace: Hold up right there! Who are you?
Owen: Easy now! My name is Owen, I am with the Canadian military. After the United States declared war on Scimitar Canada decided to join their ally by sending in some troops to assist the U.S. military.
Dawg and Lance are talking among themselves when Dawg says...
Dawg: Back-up eh?
Lance: Shut up! We don't want to offend him.
Ace lowers his M4 and Shakes Owen's hand. Saber-tooth does as well.
Saber-tooth:Great to meet you Owen. I'm Saber-tooth, this is Ace, and the two behind us are named Lance and Dawg. Now that everyone is on a first name basis, Scimitar has taken over the city and they have the support from their other fighters in Iraq and Syria as well as elements in Russia. With that being said, I think that our best plan of action is to get to the desert and get to a forward operating base. From there we can create a plan of attack. Let's roll!
Canada joins it's Ally, the U.S. in the war against Scimitar.

Ken & I saw Sting from 3rd row seats in Chastain Amphitheater, Atlanta - this is the VERY first shot I snuck with the Nikon! OMG! Yes, FANtastic!! Got hassled at the gate over the camera- YES. Talked my way through two VERY kind event people there- YES! Did NOT shoot with flash- absolutely NOT! High ISO, 18-55mm lens. And well, with 3rd row shots, that was GREAT as a view, but we were sitting practically in the lap of one of the security guys . . . ! It's not like I am selling these memories- just sharing them, and not like we didn't pay dearly to be where we were- we DID! It was AWESOME! Somehow, I don't think Sting would begrudge me these awesome mementoes- I didn't do him out of a cent of what he worked for!!
And yes, he can still belt 'em out! He sang nonstop for the entire concert and was rockin' the skinny leather jeans! His voice is SO amazing and not ONE crack or lack there! EVEN better than expected!
Oh. And one more thing- the Chastain Amphitheater venue is GREAT! Very small and laid-back; more personal- we would LOVE to go back to ANYthing else there!
