Shouts to Tobe and Shucks

My daughter was driving home on Interstate 80 West of Davis when the sun started going down. My wife, who was in the passenger seat in front of me, pulled out her iPhone to take a photo of the spectacular sunset. When I saw the view of the sunset on her phone while also seeing it from my vantage point in the back seat it made for a particularly interesting shot.

And we were on the road again during Christmas & New year Holiday. Traveled for 3500km from Sydney to Adelaide, through Mungo National Park in Outback NSW, Murray River towns in Victoria, South Australia, and touched the shore line of the ocean in Victor Harbour, SA.

Headed back west the UP1995 is enroute to Los Angeles, CA on the KG1LAC-14.

This train would make a quick stop at Rochelle's Global 3 intermodal facility, then continue to Nelson, Illinois where it would head south on the Peoria Subdivision to Edelstein for the BNSF Transcon.

I really like this location with the C&NW signals to the east and some intact codeline remaining which I feel adds to the scene.
