My daughter found this little dude on the ceiling. Great opportunity for a cool macro shot! Pretty excited about it.
Apart from the very laid-back attitude of this young lady while taking photographs of the Residenzschloß in Darmstadt, there was something else that immediately attracted the attention of my camera - I wonder if you can see what it was... I also liked the little girl walking above the woman's head, a surrealistic touch.

I AM BACK!!!!!
For the last month and few more weeks, I've been only studying for my highschool exam and lately I've been kept losing sleep..but! During those hard times, I tried to fold something out as possible, so here it is! Another version of Hydralisk! :D
Since I spend most of my time in school, I wasn't able to create anything so complicated, so I chose traditional bases(ex) bird base, frog base, etc) for my new design.. this hydralisk is folded from pure Blintz Frog Base and I'm really proud of it because the way I used to fold this model with that base is quite unique!
This is why I like to design my models with traditional bases! Even though the base might be seen as 'limited', as what you can see from my hydralisk design, it isn't actually 'limited' and the process of making those bases appropriate for the subjects is interesting, it's like making something out of nothing.. :)
Anyway, I've been retired from origami for a long time so the model might not look so good but I hope you guys like it...!!

p.s
What I said about coming back after 3 years was just a joke for April Fool's Day :D

I have been gone for a bit. The holiday season got hectic, and then I went to France with my family! It was a lovely trip, though I didn't get to shop as much as I'd have liked to because the dollar is worth a paper clip and a clump of lint next to the euro.

Just experimenting a little... I did know what I was dealing with here, but loved the colours, thought I'd try something different...
The LSF54 Local rolls south thru Normal, IL after working the north end of the Joliet Sub.
I spent two hours driving around Bloomington-Normal looking for any kind of train or locomotive to photograph while my wife was shopping. I gave up in disgust and went back to the mall to hang with the Mrs. That, of course, was when the scanner came to life with Dispatcher 28 calling this guy to see how they wanted to yard their train in Bloomington. I barely made it back to the tracks in downtown Normal to bag this shot.

Back in better days as SSW 7652:
After a year or more out of service, CN's three eastern GMD-1's, #1412, 1437, 1444 were sent to LDS in Sarnia for application of remote control equipment and other running repairs necessary for reactivation. Here, #1444 leads GT GP38-2 #6221 and CN GP9Rm #7046 as they switch the west end of CN's Sarnia yard late in the afternoon.

I had arrived at Lady Shiva's dojo, but found that she had left. My training wasn't complete without facing her. This worried me. She wouldn't let me go this easily, it must be some sort of test. I couldn't wait much longer, so I had Alfred pack our things. We've been gone for much too long.
The private jet touched down at the old abandoned airport. There must have been some sort of mistake, we were nearly run over by a much larger airliner that should never have been here. Just who is running this place anyways?
Upon entering the terminal we soon found out. Alfred slipped past the clowns while I showed them that Bruce Wayne is no easy target. I couldn't beat them as severely as they deserved, but just enough for an athletic playboy billionaire to get away with.
I have to get to the cave quickly so I could deal with this rampant city. What's worse, is that somewhere out there, my substitute is lurking.
