Back again to dancing.
I was over in Bishops Stortford doing lindyhop. Just the basic 6 count. Nice and easy, especially as I sort of know it.
I did end up helping to guide the newbies through it in the second half.
I also managed to have a call with friend. That's always nice to do when we get the chance.
I´m back in Floripa, for summer holidays. It´s paradise! Here, a sunset in front of my house -- De volta à Ilha da Magia, para as férias de verão. Realmente, Floripa é o paraíso! Aqui, um por do sol em frente à minha casa, em Cachoeira do Bom Jesus...

The 800 has the Lima Limited up to speed passing briskly through St. Johns, beginning the last leg of the trip to Lima.
From a year ago at Quidi Vidi Lake. I particularly enjoyed photographing some of the many species of Gull that frequent Quidi Vidi Lake in winter. This is "Buddy' the Black-backed Gull that has overwintered at Quidi Vidi for the past several years. He has endeared himself to many local birders.

This is actually a mid-calf skirt suit but the above the knee skirt looks sooooo much sexier. So, I actually have the skirt way up around my breast. I'm so glad it is not noticeable. Thanks to my wife for the loaner on the lovely white blouse.
In education for over 38 years and the back to school ritual includes finding the keys after securely putting them away for the summer. This year, only one key, pass card and lanyard! Tuesday will now go smoothly.

Australians are famous for being a laid back group of people. Not to be confused with Ron Muecks famous sculpture Dead Dad which was the launcing pad for his recognition as a sculpture.
Dead dad was a hyper-realistic sculpture of Mueck’s dead father, naked, lying on the floor. This extraordinary work had huge emotional power, and many visitors remembered it well.
Dead Dad is a silicone and mixed media sculpture of the corpse of Mueck's father reduced to about two thirds of its natural scale. It is the only work of Mueck's that uses his own hair for the finished product.
It was almost impossible to get a shot of this without people walking in the background, and I was almost lying on the floor for at least 5 minutes before I gave up, and made them go away electronically.

Back to Saguaro Lake, my son's favorite spot lately. I couldn't resist the colors tonight, and I love the expression on his face here.
