Stormtroopers back to back in battle

To often we do not look at the back of the beautiful creations in nature; to see the intricacy that creates the wonders of nature.

I got chance to get out a couple of nights this week before the end of milky way season

an opportunity to re do this image I took 3 years ago at the sea stacks in Trefor

Kara the Kickboxer practices her Back Kick.

She's become my favorite minifig from Series 16 but she's quite hyperactive :-) I can't seem to get her away from that punching bag :-)

Yes, that would be my car. I went to camp this afternoon with Julia to pick up Brandon. I saw him in the playground a few feet away from where I parked. I ran over to talk to him and just as I met up with him, we heard what sounded like fireworks. As we turned around to see, we watched as a huge pine tree fell and crushed my car. LOTS of damage, yet somehow drivable. I haven't stopped laughing since it happened. It's keeping me from crying. :)

(told ya my life was full of excitement!)

Recently I uploaded a photo of Australia’s greatest cricket hero’s birthplace at Cootamundra. Back in 1932, a short nine minute featurette on how to play cricket was produced for cinemas and this is shown on this “Sign of Yesteryear” located outside the local picture theatre in Portland, NSW. These signs have all been faithfully recreated by professional sign writers and what a fantastic job they have done, and a Nobel idea for a town, on the down slide to bring tourists back.

Here is the link - go see Australia folks.

Previously seen last year on UK export plates.

Last month I traveled to Mt Rainier NP to capture the early wildflower bloom in the Paradise area of the park. After a long day, I decided to hike down the Skyline Trail a bit after sunset to try some Milky Way shots.

This shot of the trail winding back to the Paradise Inn was one of my favorites of the night. That's the Tatoosh Range in the distance rising from the base of the Milky Way. The wonderfully named Unicorn Peak is just left of dead center.

Have a great weekend!

I'm glad to be back

Yes, I'm let loose

From the noose

That's kept me hanging about

I've been looking at the sky

'Cause it's gettin' me high

Forget the hearse 'cause I never die

I got nine lives

Cat's eyes

Abusin' every one of them and running wild

'Cause I'm back

Yes, I'm back in black

" دعواتكم لاتنسونا عاد اخر سنه لي وبالتوفيق للجميع انشالله"

One of the last nice warm days we will have for a long time.

Taken on a long hike with Charlie to the 'Lost Valley'.

With the flash floods again from this summer, this stream had changed its route again.

If I'd have brought tall boots, I could have walked further downstream....

But...next time!

After rushing back down out of the power plant we catch the train heading into the coal mine to take the last load of the day back to the power plant.

A rarity for Mull, and a beautiful little character to photograph.
