... well, some may be girls. I really can't tell.

This is a handheld shot from our dory. My husband rows into the Back Bay in Newport Beach while I take photos. Then, we sail out and finish up with a nice lunch. This is what I call the good life.

October always takes my husband and I to this beautiful park. We have had lots of rain recently and it brought a lot of the leaves down, but there was still some wonderful color to be seen :)

Thanks so much for taking a moment to view my photo! I appreciate it!

A working windmill keeps watch over a long abandoned shed!

No trip away is complete without the obligatory orb shot at some point! A wander down the back streets of the Old Town in Lake Como and this is what happens after I've waved a few lights around. A new bulb being tested out here on my classic warm white set up but I'm not completely happy....Yet!

Black-backed Sibia has a simple two-tone plumage but is a striking species nonetheless. It is a member of the Laughingthrushes and allies family (Leiothrichidae). This individual was seen near Thailand’s highest point, in Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai province.

Styles and eras come together in this unexpected view along Newbury Street. One of the Back Bay's oldest buildings, the 1863 Beaux-Arts old Museum of Natural History (today a Restoration Hardware store) on Berkeley Street, the 1941 Art Deco New England Mutual Life Insurance Building on Boylston Street (today an office building), the 1991 Post-Modern 222 Berkeley Street, and the 1947 Art Deco Berkeley Building, more commonly known as the Old John Hancock Building, on Berkeley Street and its famed weather beacon come together for an interesting mix of periods and styles. Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Boston, Massachusetts, Estados Unidos.

I'm around but I'm trying to get a fb :/ also apologies to those I was planning on taking the big xmas pic with, I'll still do it just not christmas themed lol

Thanks to the 14 groups this work has been invited to.

A rare one to see. Roming outside the park, out on the field on his own, head from guide its rare find.

A still life inspired by the fact that school starts back tomorrow.

Where boats go to die in Suffolk, England

Captured on my trip back to Scotland last year, this is Slains castle up on the east coast of Scotland, apparently Bram stokers "Dracula" was based on or around this castle at Cruden bay.

Its a great part of the scottish coastline, i only had limited time here, but would love to have shot this at sunset or later. Ah well next time.

This is a 3 shot Pano, looks mighty impressive large.

Hope you enjoy, many thanks for viewing.

This group of photos were taken on a private visit to Fab Falconry with Bognor Regis Camera Club on a sunny afternoon/evening & were made most welcome to a very enjoyable time.

Lyric Harmony and Duke await their turn at the TEMCO pier, no, not the one in foreground.... :)

Shooting from Thea Foss park was sort of a consolation prize for getting kicked off the bridge above it, but as it turns out there is so much light around you that THIS happens. I just bounced from spot to spot until it was too dark to shoot. :)

there's still a lot going on . . . catching up starting now . . .

I went back and forth between posting the crop and the full image. At the end of the day, I felt like the crop showed what I truly wanted to capture in the first place—framing the shot after I’ve already taken it. Image quality should always be secondary when taking photos for artistic enjoyment. There is a time and a place to pixel peep. The subject is what matters most, and it’s pertinence to the photographer’s vision. Taken on Portra 400 with the Hasselblad 500cm and Zeiss 80mm 2.8

Taken way back at the start of Spring this year. What a long time ago. M42 screw mount Auto Sears 55mm F1.4 on my Sony NEX-6. Well worth £31.

Thanks for the faves and comments, it's very nice and very much appreciated, Paul.

This image started as an HDR that I made of a room in an abandoned house. Then the phone came along, months later, and it seemed like the two were meant for each other.
