This is where the "air boss" would stand/sit and control the landing and take-offs from the famous but retired aircraft carrier USS Hornet. Through the window you can see the angled deck where planes are received back on board. Beyond that is the city of San Francisco since the USS Hornet now resides in Alameda, CA. The red arrow is an indicator for winds on deck that was used by helicopter pilots landing on deck. The USS Hornet is a great tour for military history geeks. The Hornet was the ship from which the Jimmy Doolittle raiders launched the first bombing attack on Japan on April 18, 1942. The Hornet was also the ship that received the Apollo 11 astronauts back from the first moon landing.

For this Hugo Boss January 2009 clubroom installation, Geoff Howell Studio created large curved walls that served as movie screens for video loops that we edited and carefully masked to perfectly match the curvature of those walls. In addition, we also built the large sculptural chrome tubed light fixtures, fitted with LEDS and flashing strobes, hung over a series of custom platforms that feauture an optical illusion of infinite depth. The video projections were distortions of a muscular dancing man. All of these elements combined gave the impression of a futuristic dream state where bodies and lights constantly warp and change form.

Here we see the office of our big boss and owner of this little mom and pop computer store, not to spacey for a owner, president, and CEO now is it?! From here he operates all the financial under taking, customer rentals and sales, contracts, and all the other paperwork and red tape. We keep him confined to this room for the duration of his stay so as not to cause any mayhem. Hey! Wait... look over to your right are those Linksys networking routers?!

grote landhuizen, prachtige tuinen
Saai hoor, zo’n sleutel...
