FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. -The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, or ESGR, held a Boss Lift event at Fort Indiantown Gap on May 7-8. The Boss Lift program provides opportunities for employers to learn the benefits and challenges involved with employing National Guard and reserve members. Participants toured several training areas and got some hands-on experience in vehicle and flight simulators. Attendees also enjoyed an aerial tour of the surrounding area from aboard a Chinook helicopter. ESGR's Boss Lift highlights the value and skills military personnel bring to their civilian jobs and expresses gratitude to employers for their continued support of the military and National Guard and reserve members in the work force. Bill Feyrer was my boss in the early 1980s. He was a good guy and generous employer. We became friends through my flying activities and our shared interest in the outdoors and Vancouver Island trails. Bill did much for our community and employees. He and wife, Joan were good company to be with. RIP
This photo was taken directly after this guy declared that when he sits in this chair he feels like "the boss".

I couldn't believe it when I first saw it but this 1970 Mustang is an actual "G" code Boss 302 with optional RAM AIR. It has sit for more than 3 years in a driveway on the side of a rural road in North Carolina. It was tinkered with for drag racing but is mostly original. It had been painted years ago explaining the absent Boss stripes. The original owner passed away and his sister now has it sitting at home.

Six BOSS members shopped, cooked, served and cleaned up after a Thanksgiving evening meal for more than 100 service members at the Weckerling Center. Capt. Daniel Jimenez, Co. D, 229th Military Intelligence Battalion, proposed the event and led the effort, helped by Staff Sgt. Erin Hanna of Co. D and four Airmen 1st Class from the 314th Training Squadron: Jessica Welch, Edward Dobransky, Shelby Heasley and Zon Wang.

Here's my boss, Jo Christian (also known as Oter). We attended the same lighting workshop this last weekend, and even though we had two great models to work with, I actually liked some of my shots of him the most... Probably because I know him so well, and know when I've captured "him"!
Here he's got a bare spot behind his head and he's holding a silver reflector that bounces some of the light back into his face..

Well the first thing I do is:
Talk to corporate.
Approve memos.
Lead a workshop.
Remember birthdays.
Direct workflow.
My own bathroom.
Micromanage.
Promote synergy.
.....
Alternate for day 175. I honestly couldn't decide between the two, so I uploaded both.
