Sammy, one of our backyard gray squirrels,is the self-appointed backyard boss. This squirrel chases other squirrels away from food and from his favorite tree. He is also very greedy. Yesterday as I was sitting on the back porch eating an apple he paced back and forth at my feet, waiting for me to give him the apple core. Needless to say, I felt pressured to quickly eat the apple! Backyard wildlife.

You would think this wild Bighorn Sheep owned the place as he strutted across the road like a boss. Actually, I wasn't going to argue the point with him - I've seen the videos of these guys charging each other. With horns that can weight up to 30 pounds for the pair and large males that weight up to 500 pounds, they'd probably take out the front end of my car.
This was taken in Waterton Lakes National Park in June. Even here you can see the extensive damage from a previous fire. Someone who knows this area will see something amiss in the mountains. The original sky was just flat grey with no definition at all. Today my PS subscription updated itself and came out with "Generative Fill" option so I thought I'd see what it would do with the sky. I was pretty impressed with the results other than the extra mountain peak added just left of center in the background.
I don't know how others feel about using AI in photography but I think it can be interesting - provided one is honest about it so the viewer can judge it for themselves.

The sunbittern (Eurypyga helias) is a bittern-like bird of tropical rainforest regions in Central and South America.
This slender aquatic bird with mottled plumage lives on the banks of rivers and lakes. The Sunbittern is normally found foraging on the ground and scratching for insects.
This slim, solitary bird has a blackish, slate-colored head with two white stripes on either side of the face. Its body is mottled, brown with black, and it has some white marks. A long, pointed black and orange bill and red eyes are distinctive.
Adults grow to be 45-55 cm in length and weigh 170-215 gr.
De zonneral (Eurypyga helias) is een monotypische vogelsoort verwant aan de reigers en kraanvogels.
De soort komt voor in tropisch midden- en Zuid-Amerika.
De zonneral leeft in de nabijheid van rivieren, stroompjes en meren, meestal in vochtige bossen zonder teveel ondergroei.
De vogel vangt slakken en insecten als libellen en kevers.
In het leefgebied houdt de lokale bevolking de zonneral soms als huisdier, omdat hij vervelende vliegen en spinnen vangt.
Deze alleen of in paartjes levende vogel heeft een zwart-grijskleurige kop met twee witte strepen aan weerszijden van het gezicht. Zijn lichaam is gevlekt, bruin met zwart en heeft enkele witte vlekken. Een lange spitse zwart met oranje snavel en de rode ogen zijn kenmerkend.
Volwassen vogels zijn 45-55 cm lang en wegen 170-215 gram.

So here goes..
01. My name is Randy Alboria Yu, 31 years old, married to Tata 3 years ago and we have no kids yet.
02. My father is half-Chinese and my mother has a Spanish blood. Ironically, I don't speak both languages but I can speak a total of 4 other languages. Filipino, English, Japanese and our own dialect which is Cebuano (Bisaya).
03. I hailed from a small town in Northern Mindanao called Nasipit but left it when I was 16 to study in UP Diliman. There, I became a member of a Fraternity, Melo and attyubag are some of my brods.
04. My mother worked in Tokyo for more than 20 years and I followed her here in 2001. I am presently working in Gabon Embassy as an Assistant of the Ambassador but I have worked as Embassy driver; a Club waiter, a bartender and a manager; a construction worker (painter); a Club DJ and a host (hosto). :P I also worked as an NGO's Operations Manager, one that facilitates the first Filipino caregivers here in Japan.
05. I paint with watercolor until I was 25, and I will try to paint again.
06. In sports, I play Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Baseball, Football, Badminton and Table-tennis, and with it I considered myself athletic. :P I also play Airsoft.
07. I love to sing and I love to dance. Sometimes I annoy/amaze my wife with moves only my mother would appreciate.. :P
08. I am a joker by nature, my jokes depend on my mood. Sometimes I crack a joke that will send all people around me laughing but sometimes.. I'm the only one who laughs at it.
09. I am a Mitsubishi lover, my first car was a Mitsubishi Pajero and I currently drive a Mitsubishi GTO.
10. My brain's range is varying, it can be that of a 10-year old, playing video games all day with not a care in the world or that of a 50-year old talking business or attending meetings and making points that my boss is suppose to do but he just can't because of a super hectic schedule.
