The Daily Press - Modular Newspaper Print Shop.
Alternate build (b model) for the LEGO 10278 Police Station.
Building instructions available rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-93582
I used 2735 of the 2903 parts of the LEGO Police Station.
The ground floor of the main building contains a press room with an old newspaper printing press, in the first floor there is the editorial office and on the second floor lives the owner in a small apartment with roof terrace.
In the smaller neighboring building there is a flower shop on both floors (with room for growing and caring the plants upstairs).
This is a modification of my alternate build of the LEGO 10278 Police Station - the corner building „The Daily Press“- I built in November 2021, since I recognised that I wasn't able to display the original corner building in the shelf in my living room properly.
This new non corner version is also built only with bricks from the LEGO 10278 Police Station. It's built a bit less tricky than the original building, but nevertheless I think I like it a bit better than the other one. Don't know exactly why – perhaps because I don't have to choose between the two facades but have them next to each other.
Of course there are also building instructions available reb.li/m/97319
I call this moc "Modular Bait Shop And Grocery". It is built only with parts from the set 21310 Old Fishing Store. Therefor I used 1995 of the original 2033 parts.

At the end of last year, I got the idea to design a modular house for all the collectors of the Lego Creator Expert Art Nouveau houses. After the Corner Garage was released, I feared that no house that fitted this older epoche would be released for a longer time. The bookshop finally taught me better, but of course I nevertheless finished my moc.
Since especially my mother is one of the collectors of these older modular houses and she owns the Old Fishing Store, I decided at that time to design my moc as a B model for this set.
This is my latest addition a SNCB class 62 by the Belgian manufacturer B-Models. The loco is numbered as 6244 which retained this livery until quite recently. The model is fitted with DCC sound.

The end of an era. Town of Lenox's '65 B-model lined up for auction back in November of 1993. The plow equipment had been removed but you can see the two holes for the front harness braces and one hole (beneath the right turn signal) for the right side forward wing post brace.
My parents gave me a tin of biscuits at Christmas time that had this exact same hot rod on it!
I have to thank lover of cats & custom cars for this photo as my camera was being a righteous mongrel on the day. My shot of this was only good for the "delete" button!

I was thrilled to find old truck number 1 still intact when I took these shots in October of 2012. The second owner who bought it in the auction back in 1988 or '89 still has it at his farm in Oneida, NY. Very nice gentleman who was kind enough to let me take these photos.

This classic B-70 was owned by Stephen Izzi Trucking & Rigging when I took these pictures a few years ago. This was taken inside their Edison, NJ facility.
Like most rigger trucks, this one is dolled up with pin stripes and gold leaf lettering. The truck has always been garage kept and I was told only has around 20000 miles on it.

The Imperium forces make use of their vast numbers of Battalion Beetles to overpower and capture dragons to take advantage of their power.

A B-model from set 71790 Imperium Dragon Hunter Hound!
Despite the Imperium being presented as a big force in Dragons Rising, personally the sets (so far) don’t really reflect that, or at the very least don’t give you an easy option for varied army-building beyond the minifigs, so I had the idea of wanting to do something small but strong that could work in large numbers.
A big inspiration was the unique helmet design of the Imperium Claw General, really going for a rhinoceros beetle look!

Likely relatively new at the time of this photo, the county's Koehring 304 crane is seen on yet another early to mid-1950's bridge construction job. Here it is being used to lower a girder in place for a newly constructed bridge, exact location unknown.
The girders were hauled in by the Mack B-61T tractor & trailer owned by Syracuse Rigging, a company still in existence today.
