Don't know why I never uploaded these edited versions of the pics of my alternate builds to flickr (only put a background and a pic of the box of the original set to it).
This one is for my alternate build for the LEGO 10278 Police Station.

Carter's Trucking of Cincinnatus, New York operated this early 1960's Mack B-61 tractor and dump trailer combination back in 1971.
Joe & Don Kenyon of Burlington, New Jersey were the manufacturers of Lincraft snow fences. This photo comes from a 1978 advertisement for their Angelica, New York facility.
The truck is an early 1960's GMC B-7000 loaded with rolls of snow fences. The dual stacks indicate this truck may have been powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V-71N.

I call this moc "Modular Bait Shop And Grocery". It is built only with parts from the set 21310 Old Fishing Store. Therefor I used 1995 of the original 2033 parts.

At the end of last year, I got the idea to design a modular house for all the collectors of the Lego Creator Expert Art Nouveau houses. After the Corner Garage was released, I feared that no house that fitted this older epoche would be released for a longer time. The bookshop finally taught me better, but of course I nevertheless finished my moc.
Since especially my mother is one of the collectors of these older modular houses and she owns the Old Fishing Store, I decided at that time to design my moc as a B model for this set.
An almost new Mack B in 1954. Neil Sherff shot this near Flint, MI.. Matched rubber, flat black hood and pristine sheet metal. Corgi makes a Vernor's model with a Mack L tractor.
Ron Adams shot this one sometime before 1969. Long nose Cummins powered Mack. Recent exhaust work evident.
And Here he is working Hard on the road Oldog still getting it done Monash Freeway Melbourne in 2011
Neil Sherff shot this B-75 with a "L" cab parked in a lot near the location of his traffic shots. Almost new truck, maybe only days old.
Western Mack B70-series with "L" cab and Alcoa wheels. Lebec, CA, late 60's. Check my album, "Lebec, CA".

The Daily Press - Modular Newspaper Print Shop.
Alternate build (b model) for the LEGO 10278 Police Station.

I used 2735 of the 2903 parts of the LEGO Police Station.
The ground floor of the main building contains a press room with an old newspaper printing press, in the first floor there is the editorial office and on the second floor lives the owner in a small apartment with roof terrace.
In the smaller neighboring building there is a flower shop on both floors (with room for growing and caring the plants upstairs).
