Last of the Black Guillimot shots I'm going to post. (I have thousands more!) These are my favourite type of shots - they appear somewhat clumsy landing on/in the water and I love the resulting splashes.

Ian Riley's 'Black 5' 4-6-0s returning south, following completion of the 'Jacobite' season of services based from Fort William. 44871 and 45407 open cylinder drain cocks as they get right away from Carlisle in fading light on Monday 28th October 2013, the 5Z91/5Z92 from Bo'ness to Carnforth and Bury. Despite the overhead equipment, a pair of 'Black 5s' look so much at home here.

One-third of the world’s shag species are found in New Zealand, where they are icons of lake and coastal landscapes. The diverse shorelines and rich marine and freshwater resources offer many habitats for these elegant, straight-flying birds.

Photo ratée, qui n'était pas destinée à Flickr, mais que j'ai aimée tout de suite pour son coté un peu étrange ^^

Bad picture, not aimed to be posted on Flickr, but I like it because it looks strange ^^

Zoofties are cute plushies based from my own designs. They are hand sewn, made of felted wool and filled with polyester stuffing. They are for cuteness collectors, just for home/office decoration, not as a chid toy due little ornaments they have.

Materials:

- Felted Wool

- Printed fabrics

- Embroidery thread

- Sewing thread

- Stuff

- Buttons and embellishments

This little mascots are my first felt plush project. This is the 1st round. Second one will be better!! Hope you like it ;)

Black Oystercatchers live along the Pacific coastline and appear to be fairly abundant on the Alaska coast as well as on islands in the pacific. I was met with them on my first day in Glacier Bay and nearly every day while on the boat and during hikes on shore. Preferring a rocky beach these large shorebirds are less common in coastal areas where the beaches are sandy. The diet of the Oystercatcher includes mussels and other shellfish. It uses its strong, sizeable bill to pry open shells and then devours the soft contents. A very vocal bird, the Oystercatcher will often call while in flight and is typically heard before it is spotted. While walking through a bay filled with glacial icebergs I spotted this bird wandering along an icy shore. It jumped onto this rock and posed nicely in front of the beautiful, aqua blue water. Two days before on a warm afternoon a strange beetle was flyng over the River Danube, while we were fishing with my friend. He caught is, and we realized it is something we never seen before. The black borer - Apate monachus Fabricius, 1775 - is originally widely distributed throught Africa, and moving North to the Mediterranean. It is known from several European countries. The species is considered as a pest of 80 different plants such as carob trees, pomegranate, coffe or date palms. This is the first record for our country, and now this is our biggest powderpost beetle species.

Really should be getting on with some work instead of playing around with cake dummies :o)
