hahaha like morse code. cept in bokeh. i was so bored tonight. we drove for like 3 hours. with my baby sister and lil brother.

so i snapped this off in the hotel room late at night through the window. whatevs.
i think it was a street light or somethin of the sort.
A pair of black satin pumps, c.1870, with a moderate Louis heel (OH 1 5/8) covered with satin. The leather sole is narrow at the waist, with a square toe a similar width to ball of the foot. It boasts floral embroidery in faded green, pink, and blue accompanied by an elaborate applied embellishment over the vamp.
Condition: Very good. OL 9 1/2, OW 2 1/4".

I woke up this morning to a couple of yellow tail black cockatoos in the banksia near my bedroom window. Unfortunately i had to take the shots facing toward the sun. I have tried to adjust a bit for the backlighting. These are very large cockatoo, Not sure if they are the largest cockatoo but they have a metre wide wing span at least. The banksira this one is eating is probably a foot long.
Just like with my Usagi, I put Black Lady's head onto a made to move Barbie. When I got this doll, I was lucky and she came with her original dress (which is awesome by the way). Her poseability will allow for some awesome pictures! Super excited!!!!

Here is a car to catch your eye! We started with a gloss black CTS V Coupe from Cadillac and turned it to a Matte Blue Metallic. We used 3M 1080 film in both Matte Metallic Blue and Matte Black. The matte black was first installed dthe center of the hood, covering the roof, and ending on the deck lid and spoiler. These sections were applied first. We fine-line taped the edges to ensure the cuts were accurate. After the matte black was installed we started with the matte blue metallic. The mirrors nd vents were removed in order to make the car appear as seamless as possible. The final installation process was the thin gloss black pinstripe that made a border between the matte blue and matte black vinyls
The rare endemic Black Stilt (Kaki, Himantopus novaezelandiae). It looks like there is now one less whitebait for the whitebaiters!!

Had an order with the colour theme of purple, lilac and black. First time i tried the embossed fondant covered cupcake, still have to master it.
I saw a small flock of these birds on a mudflat near Wolf Neck State Park. They are wearing their winter coats; they do not have black bellies.
This stocky plover breeds in high Arctic zones around the world, and winters on the coasts of six continents. Some can be seen along our beaches throughout the year (including non-breeding immatures through the summer). Although the Black-bellied Plover is quite plain in its non-breeding plumage, it adds much to the character of our shorelines with its haunting whistles, heard by day or night. [Audubon web site]
I'm a sucker for black Labs - so many fond memories of great times .. This one seemed bemused but unphased by our encounter :)

As you may guess I rather like taking big cat photos. These black Leopards were one of the hardest cats I have photographed. The black confuses the metering and it tries to overexpose. The autofocus cannot focus easily because of the uniform colour of the cat. Trying to get the fur detail is a challenge but I'm fairly pleased with this one.
