The ocean waves crashing on the rocks at Bass Point New South Wales Australia

The cliffside Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse in Acadia National Park, located in the village of Bass Harbor, Maine on cloudy autumn day.

In Bebelplatz. I don't remember seeing this earlier, so I assume it was left here for a reason.

I was going through old photos and deleting a bunch and came across this one. At the time I didn't think it was very good. Years later I found it kinda striking and decided to keep it.

Thanks for taking a look!

Bass Hole boardwalk, Yarmouth Port. A nice place to catch some peace and quiet. This particular day presented some incredible colors in the water from deep blue to aquamarine. Back in the day the boardwalk stretched farther out and had bathhouses . For anybody who has been to Mayflower Beach in Dennis, the old Grays Beach was at the end of the boardwalk to the left and rivaled Mayflower's beauty. That all came to an end around 1953 as a hurricane uprooted the original boardwalk and made a sand bar out of the beach.

Managed to catch the last dregs of the sunset with this 30 second exposure. The colors that came out are amazing and I love the blue of the sky with the stars shining out. No post-processing on this one except for straightening.

Lobster traps fill the dock at Bass Harbor, Maine. This is only a small piece of the harbor that is dedicated to commercial lobster fishing.

Taken in the late fall. In Montana that means the leaves have changed colors and are on the ground.

Part of a series of the Bass Rock which sits in the Forth estuary in Scotland. My aim is to capture this rock in the myriad weather and natural conditions.

Scenes from the edge of the world - The Lizard, Cornwall 2004-2017

A view from the cliff top coastal path on a beautiful summer day. The Lizard Lifeboat Station at Kilcobben Cove can just be glimpsed in the distance, with the flat headland of Bass Point behind, Taken on our first holiday on The Lizard back in the summer of 2004. We have been going back to The Lizard every year since!

A small group of eider ducks on the Firth of Forth, with the Bass Rock in the background. The Bass Rock is a volcanic plug, similar to the nearby North Berwick Law on the mainland and Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh. It contains the world's largest colony of Northern Gannets (Morus bassanus), whose specific name is derived from this location. Up to 160,000 gannets nest there.

Great Blue Heron catches dinner at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Florida.

The water mirror in the foreground is a natural tidal lagoon (seawater "left behind" by the ebbing tide, cut off from the open sea at low tide)
