There's just nothing else quite like it...

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.

I can change what you see, reshape what is known...

But your soul must never be chained,

It must dance in the wild, unbound and unrestrained.

UNKLE - Awake The Unkind | Never, Never, Land | 2003

Another angle of the beautiful twin pagodas. Not sure why one had the lights on and the other one off, maybe the right one felt a bit tired and decided to call it a night first 😂

Best time to visit that park? Well, at night! Depending on how scorching the sun is during the day, you might get barbecued! 🍖 I don't enjoy feeling like I'm being grilled so night is the best option in my opinion!

It's been a while since I post last image. I took a trip with friend to Oregon last weekend. The original plan was backpacking into the mountains. But we missed the time before storm clearing and the whole area was cloudless so we decided heading to the coast. And it turned out to be a good decision. We had two good sunrises and this is the one from Cape Kiwanda.

Thanks for stopping by!

A tree in the morning mist. The light is soft, the landscape quiet. Just a simple, peaceful moment in nature.

'The Kraken Awakes' - This has to be my new favourite seascape!

I'm just back from a week in Australia, I was hoping to shoot a whole bunch of shots on the Great Ocean Road but the weather just didn't help out at all. Days of grey skies and horizontal rain. But luckily on my first morning there the sunrise lit up for a few moments.

This is shot at some reefs just outside of Marengo. These rocks were so incredibly slippery , I fell over , twice, getting to the location, along with a good 6-8 ft swell coming in made shooting somewhat tricky!

Captured with a 5d mkII, canon 17-40L, Lee 3 stop hard grad filter. f11, ISO100 and 1 second exposure.

You were made to meet your maker.

I now have a lookbook.

Today's sunrise. Too bad the sky is overcast and gray now...again.

You might think that there's no city here. But in the distance among the mist and haze, there lies a city with lots of people, with lots of bustle waiting.

Big thanks to Jeff Austin for plowing through the night and the added wisdom and insight.

A soft effect was added.

I didn't mean to upload this but changed my mind tonight.

I struggle to find any truth in your lies.

Just an outtake I'm pretty fond of from yesterday.

“Be aware of anyone you are willing to sacrifice sleep to talk with. They’re similar to drinking coffee. In overwhelming you, in awaking your senses, in sneaking into your system till you’re addicted, in stimulating your cravings. - believe me when I say, my thoughts of him, have kept me awake more that caffeine ever did.”

Created this with my best friend Leann who is modeling in the picture. This was a fun day. There were these little fish in the water that kept nibbling at us.

This is possibly the last one from my ballerina series, but I do have more so we'll see how I feel later on.

I've had some setbacks these last couple weeks in every way imaginable...a lot of photo setbacks, so I do apologize for not sprouting new work daily and posting every other day. Believe, me...it kills me. It really does.

But in other news....a new item is available for purchase through Ebay and is detailed on my blog. Remember, whoever wins the item will be featured on my blog along with the image that they create using the prop - Thank you for taking an interest in this project!!!

This piece is printed at 40X40 inches on canvas and is often the centerpiece of my exhibitions, along with "Ballet Vacate".
