"Asleep / Awake" The Monthly Scavenger Hunt #13 July
This is almost identical with Annmarie's photo, but I couldn't think of anything else.
My son was just about to fall asleep or maybe he was asleep already. It was his naptime and sometimes he likes me to lightly rub his back to calm him down (and sometimes he won't let me touch him at all).
I had to use my camera phone, 'cause my other cameras make too much noice in situations like this - at this point he gets disturbed very easily.
My original photo from today that I used for my Cubomaniac picture.
I took this picture while I was awake, so that is why it is called Tina Awake.
You can see that I am smiling. That is because I am thinking about True Friends.
The ocean splashes against a rock tower along the Marginal Way coast in Ogunquit, Maine. This image reminds me of the power of the sea and the nature of being awake in the moment.
This is daddy's technique for getting Charlie to sleep...basically, the only way he can get him to fall asleep. He does this by holding Charlie out in front of him and gently bouncing him up and down.
Notice the obedient folding of the hands. He's already starting to practice good manners. I take that as a good sign.
