What kind of love
Embraces this wild world
With such a welcome?
What love is this, that
Contains such
Darkness and strife
When the world
Refuses to conform
To our demands for
Outer peace,
And then wraps us
In such wonder
And grace?
Fear, war, starvation,
And so much else
Are included in the
Grace of morning light
On a darkened world.
In the light’s first
Touch of a leaf
There is something that
Embraces all of what we are
And includes us
In the full circle
Of life as it is.
We see that we are
Something whole
And seamless,
And perfect.
The heart of each morning
Offers with outstretched hands,
An expansion, a release
Out off our self-made prisons
Into a world ruled by a love
That excludes nothing,
A love we can trust,
A love at peace
With all things.
Even this, and this, and
Especially and
Whole-heartedly

For far too long I have slept the years away. My eyes open but my mind closed to the beauty of the world around me. The sweet aroma of life rouses my soul. I drink from it's fountain and now until I return to the dust of the ages, I shall sleep no longer for I am finally awake.
Sprite Island, located just south of Norwalk Harbor. The waters of it's shores are darted with flags marking the location of oyster traps set by local shellfisheries
All my tehnical stuff are having some problems ... my phone, computer mouse, keyboard ...
So annoying.
(51.365) I'm drawn to green like a moth to a flame and little details like this in the forest are all my camera and I ever really need to be happy.

It's been a while since I post last image. I took a trip with friend to Oregon last weekend. The original plan was backpacking into the mountains. But we missed the time before storm clearing and the whole area was cloudless so we decided heading to the coast. And it turned out to be a good decision. We had two good sunrises and this is the one from Cape Kiwanda.

Flickr has become my addiction, my naughty addiction. but its no good addiction its bad, it makes me second guess my photography i see people with thousands of views and i feel inferior. Flickr is my enemy.
Another angle of the beautiful twin pagodas. Not sure why one had the lights on and the other one off, maybe the right one felt a bit tired and decided to call it a night first 😂
Best time to visit that park? Well, at night! Depending on how scorching the sun is during the day, you might get barbecued! 🍖 I don't enjoy feeling like I'm being grilled so night is the best option in my opinion!

I'm just back from a week in Australia, I was hoping to shoot a whole bunch of shots on the Great Ocean Road but the weather just didn't help out at all. Days of grey skies and horizontal rain. But luckily on my first morning there the sunrise lit up for a few moments.
This is shot at some reefs just outside of Marengo. These rocks were so incredibly slippery , I fell over , twice, getting to the location, along with a good 6-8 ft swell coming in made shooting somewhat tricky!
Captured with a 5d mkII, canon 17-40L, Lee 3 stop hard grad filter. f11, ISO100 and 1 second exposure.
