My old boss Jane and her younger daughter at lunch in the Zhongtailai hotel restaurant. The little one woke up in time to eat!
Filled with many cheesy scenes of lush green meadows, smiling multiracial groups... Strange series of historical photos with man and wife over about 50 years. Something to do with Germany. After I laid it down, another chap who didn't look like he could understand the writing read it from cover to cover too.
On an early morning drive from here to there this Spring, I noticed how the Dogwoods were waking up and glowing through the dim light of a new day.
A mysterious, pulsating laboratory is engineered on the streets of Grantham. Eminent scientists feed the experiment within. The state looks on with satisfaction. The media are expectant. And then something more powerful than all that has gone before begins to live and breathe. Colossus awakes and darker forces gather…..
