KITTIWAKES AWAKE
Open beaks ,wanting food ,
Screaming away this brood ,
They still do need ,
A parents’ lead ,
Learning old ways ,
Every new day ,
Opening their wings ,
Seeing huge things ,
All in sight ,
Quiet at night ,
Screeching is best ,
Not to rest ,
They are afraid ,
Need some aid ,
Kittiwakes awake ,
Do not forsake.
