I had planned to shoot baby pictures while she was asleep. But just as I started taking pictures, she woke up. And I realized that a picture of her with eyes open was so much better. Almost as if she was posing for the camera!

"you live like this, sheltered, in a delicate world, and you believe you are living. then you read a book… or you take a trip… and you discover that you are not living, that you are hibernating. the symptoms of hibernating are easily detectable: first, restlessness. the second symptom (when hibernating becomes dangerous and might degenerate into death): absence of pleasure. that is all. it appears like an innocuous illness. monotony, boredom, death. millions live like this (or die like this) without knowing it. they work in offices. they drive a car. they picnic with their families. they raise children. and then some shock treatment takes place, a person, a book, a song, and it awakens them and saves them from death. some never awaken."

Simple colors, lone bird looking for breakfast. This picture wasn't hard to capture, but I love the simplicity of the early morning and the fun the Creator has showing off.

"More we are ourself , most everything we live is rich .
You have to live in yourself and think about the whole of life ,
All the millions of opportunities , of vastness and futures in it ,
Against which there is nothing passed or lost"
R.M Rilke
I was playing around with eliminating ambient light and flash control to achieve this image. Daytime shot in my kitchen. Two modified (umbrella) Speedlites (600EX and YN600) to my left at 45deg. Modified with a reflector at the right. Triggered with St-E3-RT.
I will share the air I breathe,
I'll give you my heart on a string,
I just don't wanna miss anything.
I'm trying real hard not to shake. I'm biting my tongue,
but I'm feeling alive and with every breathe that I take,
I feel like I've won. You're my key to survival.

This beast looks like it just woke up after a little while resting in an underground garage :D This is my first shot of an awesome Grantourismo Sport MC that I had a photoshoot with, along with mdogger7 and TOM722. Hope you like it, and there are a few shots to come, so stay tuned :)

"The light which puts out our eyes is darkness to us.
Only that day dawns to which we are awake.
There is more day to dawn.
The sun is but a morning star."
