2001 entstand bei der Firma MIKA GmbH in Mölln ein Unikat, das einen ebenfalls einmaligen Autotransporter von 1954 nachempfindet. Der „Blaues Wunder“ genannte Wagen mit Stilelementen von Mercedes-SL-Sportwagen hatte damals Rennwagen vom Typ W 196 und 300 SLR auf seiner Ladefläche. Nach dem Rückzug aus dem Motorsport 1955 wurde das bis zu 170 km/h schnelle Fahrzeug nicht mehr benötigt und schließlich 1967 verschrottet. Bei der Geburtstagsfeier zum 100-jährigen Markenjubiläum von Mercedes-Benz 2001 stellte das Unternehmen den Nachbau vor. Eine weitere Nachbildung befindet sich im Besitz von Jay Leno

This five car autotransporter was designed by Brooks Stevens Associates for the La Crosse Trailer Corporation, Wisconsin USA.
It had a hydraulic lift, making it possible for one man to operate the carrier.
I do not know the date of this rig but judging from the cars carried ,it is probably from the early 1950's.

Delivering "K" cars from Newark, DE at Wrightsville, PA in March 1985. #743 was one of the late US Dodge HD trucks, built in June of 1975. I still deliver cars to this dealership from time to time.
International especially built for car hauling. Renaults in New Castle, DE in 1985. Bankhead headramp with grasshopper legs and 48-foot Bankhead trailer.
Denver, CO, 1990. Ford truck that has had the Ryder logos pasted over the old "Convoy" names. Some of these trucks were painted yellow.
Late 1960's truck and trailer with a load of 1979 autos (VW Rabbits and Chryslers). I'd be interested to know what make trailer this is.
Ravena hauled Subaru out of Balto and usually ran a mixture of old tractors and trailers. This Ford was still lettered for Coltrans and the Troyler was an old ARCO unit. 1985.
Primarily a Ford and import hauler, Nu Car removed the nameplates from most of the non-Ford tractors they owned. This is probably a GMC and the car is one of the last Pintos.

DGS 75864 von Regensburg Ost nach Bremen Rbf wurde am 28. September 2013 von der Railpool 185 676 der Rurtalbahn befördert. Der Zug war komplett aus den neuen ARS Altmann Autotransportwagen gebildet. Aufgenommen wurde die fotogene Leistung bei Batzhausen.

I get the feeling the fate of those W123's is export but seeing as they're the only ones sharing a car transporter supposedly on the way to the port i'm left with some doubt.

The 2nd of 2 photos from this day. The Actros has now unloaded the car on the lower deck of the trailer and is heading south again.
The company name is "Dansk Auto Logik", but the vehicles are only marked "Auto Logik"... also the last "K" looks like a "C" because it shares the upright with the "I" - Furthermore there's no space between the two words on the trucks. All of this results in the name "Dansk Auto Logik" appearing like "AutoLogic"

Retirement age for trucks: many used trucks are offered for sale on international markets. If sold to a foreign buyer, this will not be listed in the danish motor registry, so a "retired" truck may or may not have been exported. In other words, the "retirement age" only shows the age, at which the truck stopped running on danish license plates.
