Another yellow Volvo FH from the Netherlands, this time a fully-fledged car transporter, which was travelling along the A1 autobahn. This particular truck was operated by Wolves Autotransport, based in the town of Wierden in eastern Netherland, outside the city of Almelo. The driver gave a flash of the lights and a toot of the horn as he drove passed, always cool to have that!

Etwas weniger Brennweite war nötig, um den DGS 75738 von Dingolfing nach Bremerhaven Kaiserhafen abzulichten, der am 17. Juni 2013 von der SBB Cargo 482 045 gezogen wurde. Aufnahmestandort war die alte Mainbrücke in Retzbach-Zellingen.

Dundalk, MD, March 1986. This IH is a special built "CH" (car hauler) model with cropped fenders, lowered cab and long wheelbase. Late-70's Stuart trailer that these trucks used originally. Lots of these in KAT's fleet in the 1980's.
Car Haulaways in NZ with an unusual 6x2 truck, twin steer yet. Late 1970's Mitsu Colt/Gallants and Rootes units. The two on top of the trailer look like our old Plymouth Cricket; probably Hillman Avengers.

Shot in Canada in the mid-1970's and given to me by Harry Patterson, this shot of a D-series Dodge is pulling an old stretched out 4-car trailer. You can tell where it was cut and lengthened.
