At 12:03PM on December 7, 2024 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a reported auto fire in the 13900 block of N Tucker Ave in Sylmar.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the non-injury fire.

In the past I only photographed valves and spigots until I found out there was a Flickr Standpipe group. Now I wonder why they come in chrome and glossy brass plate. I’m fine with galvanized fixtures. Regardless, I’m adding this to my collection knowing full well its just self indulgent.
