Splurged something very luxurious for my Dolorosa and finally purchased this very elegant Authentic Spanish Veil from Barcelona, Spain. This would go perfect together with Her Genuine Antique Silver Rosary. :)
I made a queen-sized quilt for our bedroom from Moda Authentic layer cakes. I love love love this collection, so I didn't want to cut into the pieces because I just love the prints.
It was a beast of a quilt to hand quilt but it's well worth the effort, I think.. I used black and mid-grey for sashing, and a black and white dot fabric for the binding.
AUTHENTIC JESUS had tons of followers at the contest...he didnt win, but he caused absolute pandemonium where everyone wanted to be photographed with him. /////////////the best thing about the Sister's show were the Marijuana 4/10 folks who incorrectly wandered into the Sister's space...they were like "OMG, This is like , OZ, man." Yes, it was. Probably because it was the Sister's 35th Anniversary and it was an homage to the Wizard of Oz. The lawn in front of the stage was filled with red-paper poppies. There were several 'Cowardly Lions", many "Glenda the Good Witch", a couple of 'Bad Witches" including one on a bike...a very young 6-year old Judy Garland passing out Giradelli Chocolate, an awesome Scarecrow of indeterminate sex, a few Tin Men (and one obviously Tin Woman), and even a couple of 'munchkins'...yes, real little people. Though, I'm happy to report that there were no Flying Monkeys.////////////////

Buchanan's Wharf, Bristol, photographed from Welsh Back on Wednesday 23rd July 1975. The buildings had started life, in 1883, as the granary (left) and mill (right) of Messrs Procter and Baker. During the 90s the area was "regenerated" and "apartments" were inserted into these empty shells. Anything likely to offend the new tenants by its unsightliness had to be sanitized or removed. The corrugated iron conveyors soon went, as did the chimney and the projecting structures on the top storey, which must have housed hoists. A new block was inserted into the bomb site off right and the untidy quayside buildings to the left gave way to more flats.
