I stumbled across this traditional leather shoe shop in central Cartagena. These amazing shoes and boots were priced at an average of 30 Euros per pair, a positive bargain, I think.

These are the first thing I've designed for my upcoming sustainable design studio, Cast Iron Design. They are letterpressed bookmarks that were printed on the trimmings of another print to minimize waste.
I made a queen-sized quilt for our bedroom from Moda Authentic layer cakes. I love love love this collection, so I didn't want to cut into the pieces because I just love the prints.
It was a beast of a quilt to hand quilt but it's well worth the effort, I think.. I used black and mid-grey for sashing, and a black and white dot fabric for the binding.
These guys from Jackinabox Productions worked hard to promote their show "Don Juan". It looked interesting but I wasn't able to fit it in :(

This pair of shoes has been worn for around 6 years. Worn for school, worn for (part of) uni, and still going strong. They have never been washed, they are absolutely filthy, and have NEVER been worn with socks. Therefore, they smell absolutely gorgeous. Feel the desire for these shoes, want to lick them, caress them, dream about them.... These shoes will make you hard xx

This intriguing architectural scene showcases the bustling cultural heart of Kyoto, Japan. Dominating the image is the famous Minami-za Theater, one of the oldest and most prestigious Kabuki theaters in Japan. Its traditional architectural style, characterized by gabled roofs and classic signage adorned with Japanese kanji characters, immediately commands attention. The theater’s ornate facade and intricate details exemplify Kyoto’s dedication to preserving its rich cultural heritage amid modernization.
In the foreground, the rounded, earthen-colored structures add an appealing contrast to the urban backdrop. Their curved forms and subtle textures evoke traditional Japanese storehouses, skillfully blending old-world design with modern urban life. Flanking the entrance, modern amenities like vending machines and a bus stop highlight the coexistence of tradition and convenience in contemporary Kyoto.
Visible signage with traditional Japanese crests (kamon) and branding hints at local specialty shops, offering a taste of Kyoto’s culinary and artisanal heritage. The harmonious palette of muted yellows, blacks, and grays reflects a mindful approach to architectural integration, ensuring that newer buildings complement rather than overshadow the historical elements.
This intersection of old and new, with its bustling streets and timeworn charm, offers an authentic snapshot of Kyoto’s evolving urban landscape. Whether you’re a culture enthusiast or a casual traveler, this area captures the essence of a city that cherishes its past while embracing the future.
Vans California Authentic Indigo Herringbone - Wear Test Day 1. I love the way Vans Authentics fade and change as you wear them. Day to day wear and sun take there toll in a distinctive way. I think these ones in particular are going to look amazing as they age. The indigo Herringbone fabric is a great switch up to my usual choice of core navy blue canvas. They have the contrast metal eye holes, upgraded inner sole and take off the foxing stripe and the deal is sealed.

Love Valley was founded by Andy Barker in 1954 just north of Statesville, North Carolina. Andy’s dream was to create an authentic cowboy town where only horses were allowed on Main Street but had to stay off the sidewalks. Andy died in 2011 and small town has declined from it glory days though events are still scheduled for this year. Photogra[hed with a Canon EOS 3 and a Canon 50mm/f1.8 lens on Ilford HP5+.
