I went to what was formerly known to me as Fall Trace looking for a whole different shot and found myself mesmerized by the peaceful surroundings, the colors, the tranquility ...I truly enjoyed myself here .. I try as a whole not to inundate flickr with a ton of shots but man I had so many that I couldn't resist adding atleast two ..lol. I hope you all like .. and visit and shoot ..it is so beautiful.

Monument of Russian architecture of the XII century, which served as a model for a number of later cathedrals, including the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. One of the few temples in which authentic frescoes of Andrei Rublev are preserved.

The Templo de Debod, an authentic Egyptian temple dating from the 4th century BC in Madrid
The temple is located in the Parque del Oeste, near the royal palace. Two tall, narrow gateways lead to the temple itself and all these artifacts are placed in a water pool.
The construction of the Aswan Dam in 1960 threatened many ancient monuments and archaeological sites on the Nile. Spain was one of the countries that answered the UNESCO call for saving the monuments helping with rescuing the temples of Abu Simbel from destruction. As a sign of gratitude, the Egyptian government donated the Templo de Debod to Spain in 1968 where it opened to the public in 1972.

River walked this evening and there was a constant supply of new leaves in the flow. Heavy rains and winds overnight scattered the green leaves throughout the banks. The shaded area pushes a higher ISO which provides some noise that works enhancing the moving perception.
A peaceful massif, the Bauges and its Regional Natural Park breathe authenticity. Here the landscape is soft and welcoming with its villages nestled between forests and meadows.

Do you ever find those places where it seems like you took a step back in time? A place uninterrupted by modern developments of civilization. That is what this place felt like to me, and I loved it! It is so sweet to find hidden gems like this where you can leave the world as we know it for a moment and can take time to soak it all in. These are the places that I feel like I grow closest to the Lord. I am so thankful that there are still places like this left and that He grants us time to go to them and rest in His presence and bask in His goodness!
John the Baptis - according to the Gospels: the closest predecessor of Jesus Christ, who predicted the coming of the Messiah, lived in the desert as an ascetic, preached and performed sacred ablutions (immersions) of the Jews for the cleansing of sins and repentance. These ablutions later became known as the sacrament of baptism. He washed (baptized) Jesus Christ in the waters of the Jordan River, performing a ritual immersion of Him in the waters of the Jordan River. John the Baptist was beheaded at the request of the Jewish queen Herodias, whose will was conveyed by her daughter Salome (Matthew 14:8, 9). John the Baptist is considered a historical figure and most researchers consider the mention of him in all known manuscripts of Josephus Flavius's "Jewish Antiquities" to be an authentic text, and not a later insertion by Christian copyists.
