The village Pirttivuopio as its own little planet. Made from an aurora picture I took out there in September.
When car headlights disrupt a photo shoot, you usually just wait it out for it to pass, but I kept shooting anyway. I liked the result with my photography group's shadow being cast on the distant rocks. A special moment in time. Skógafoss waterfall in Iceland in October.
Last night I saw the northern lights for the first time. It was a very special experience. My skills to photograph it can certainly improve but I was quite pleased to have captured something.

Suddenly the aurora got so strong it was getting blown out parts ,so quickly readjust the camera and keep shooting ,it was crazy bright .
Well i guess the aurora season is over soon ,i was hoping for maybe one more trip out but the weather has not been on my side .
hope you enjoyed the aurora images i shot this season ,i really has been fun chasing the light and im so grateful to be able to shot it here in my home country Iceland ,already looking forward to the next season

Somewhere above the atlantic ocean around 3am, in a plane between Montréal to Paris.
Everyone was asleep in the plane, and I get so exited when I saw these aurora borealis!!! It was the first time I saw something like that. It's magical.
I've been very absent this past months, but I'm ready to make some art again!!!
I'm coming with a new conceptual picture tomorrow! :-)
Learn to fly
this is just before the sky went totally crazy but these last few days its very cloudy and raining but its getting colder so im hoping for some good clear sky soon .
just talked to my doctor and surgery is scheduled on the 23rd nóvemb and most likely the knee will also be included this time :/
hubby thought it would be fun for us to go for a short trip to Frankfurt before i have the surgery :) cant wait to go shopping and have fun in Frankfurt ,never been there

Wonderful northern lights some nights ago just outside of Tromsø in the Northern Norway. The lights were in senit, and it was a great sight.
I really need to be able to go out and chase them ,its getting to my head (or its just a headache )

The aurora made an appearance in Williamsburg, Virginia on October 7, 2024. It was naked eye visible and my first time seeing/capturing it!

Taken last night over Reykjavik from Heiðmörk you can see the strip of blue light in the right corner ,that is the peace tower (i think ) dedicated to John Lennon
The lights whent totally nuts and i dint get a good image of that but i got some nice once i hope :) i really need to go out and scout good locations ,i cant keep on just going somewhere :)
Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) This photo was from last night 11/11/25.
It was cloudy and cold, the lights were visible with the naked eye. Hopefully some good conditions tonight too.
