My last image I'm going to post from Alberta is the very first one I took. I arrived in Edmonton around 8:30pm. I'd noticed there was some Aurora activity promised, so Len and I went out shooting. Me in my city shoes. This was the very first image I shot - it wasn't a huge show of lights and it pretty much died down after that, but I was happy to have seen this much.
If you'd like, take a look at my other night images.
Taken on the eve of the Winter Solstice in Tamworth, NH. A three-quarters moon limited the brightness, but there was still a strong, though brief show.
Aurora Borealis, finally got a few shots during the third night on a ship, sailing along the Norwegian coast.
Aurora in Lofoten, taken on the first day on my 5 day trip in Lofoten. The aurora was so strong that it got burned on the picture.
High altitude aurora, light pollution, cloud, a pond, a meteor and the Milky Way from May 31, 2014. Taken NE of Calgary, Alberta.
Aurora Borealis from 35000ft over Norway last night
