there is a little cafe on the main floor that seems like a popular place...both days i visited there were quite a few customers around lunchtime.
The cafe in the atrium of the Morgan Library, Manhattan, provides interesting patterns in light and shadow. The atrium is part of a major expansion to the Morgan Library designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano. We visit this museum almost every time we visit New York City as the exhibits are interesting and well curated.

Workers prepare for construction of Cline Atrium, a meeting space and walkway that will connect Cline and Harvey Ingham Halls on the Drake University campus. The facility is funded through a $3 million gift from Morgan E. Cline, PH’53. When completed, the atrium will allow for new faculty offices and will provide additional meeting places for students, faculty, and staff.

The famous Atrium space designed by Normal Foster. I've been wanting see and experience this space from the first time I saw it in Architecture Record years ago. The place did not disappoint as it is just as incredible as the pictures... and then some... I had an even overcast sky when we visited, but I'm kind of glad, though having the atrium framing cast strong shadows might of worked really well too.
