Mondial Assistance has been voted best travel insurance company in the Netherlands for 2011. The accolade, voted for by the reisbranche (travel industry), was presented at the annual 'Vakantiebeurs' Dutch Tourism Expo recently.
The award caps an excellent year in the Netherlands: our HelpMe mobile app won the 'Goldern Shield' for e-business at the Netherlands insurance industry's annual awards, and the budget variant of our annual travel insurance product was named a 'best buy' by the Consumentenbond consumer association earlier in the year.

CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Atsushi Sakima (left) participates in a humanitarian assistance evacuation drill as part of Constant Vigilance 2012 here Sept. 12. “It is necessary to check the evacuation routes for the safety of the citizens,” said Ginowan City Mayor Atsushi Sakima. The residents walked the southern tsunami evacuation route of Camp Foster’s two evacuation routes. The exercise is designed to improve processes and procedures by practicing command relationships, communication plans and logistical support before a crisis, which allows MCIPAC to more efficiently and effectively support service members, their families and the local community in the event of a real world situation. Third grade teacher, Mrs. Falcon, with the assistance of all the staff and students at Terence C. Reilly, came together to help the victims of the recent tragedy in Ecuador. On April 16, 2016, a 7.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Ecuador. In addition, a few hundred aftershocks ranging in magnitudes from 3.5 to 6.1 also hit the coast. This area has been terribly affected leaving residents sleeping on the streets in fear of buildings collapsing from the aftershocks. After hearing about this terrible news, our staff and students couldn't sit back idly knowing that many people from Elizabeth were born and still have family living in Ecuador. So, in a matter of two weeks, an overwhelming amount of donations were collected that included: medical supplies, personal hygiene products, clothing, shoes blankets and more. Mrs. Falcon's eighth grade after school students worked tirelessly to organize and pack all the items collected. Finally, with the amazing help of the New Jersey State Police, Troopers Reinaldo Cruz Jr. and Carlos Orellana, and the Elizabeth Fire Department, we were able to deliver all the donations to the Iglesia Carismatica Del Divino Niño located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The church has been collecting and sending donations to their sister church in Ecuador since the tragic event, ensuring the victims will receive what they need. We are all so proud of our school community. Once again, the Reilly Family lives up to their motto; "Together We Can!"

Mica Herrin. 2015. Due to the Assistance of Goldsfish and Tiny Dancers.
I can't tell you what it is. I can only tell you what it feels like.
It's like a full balloon to the right of my left lung pressing against my heart and other vital organs. The symptoms are dizziness, confusion, and uncontrollable laughter. And I haven't quite figured out if I need to be worried or not. It's like a thousand goldfish pulling the hair on the back of my neck because I am drowning in these undiagnosed emotions. It's like tiny dancers control my fingers as they tap against the counter while I'm at work because I don't need to be at work. I need to be on a bridge somewhere yelling at myself for having been so basic. I need to be in the drug store buying new eyeliner, the kind that isn't waterproof because I never cry anymore. I need to be in a kayak floating away from you because you are the air in my lungs and I'm holding my breath the way I want to hold you and I do not want to let you go. Everything is made better and possible and perfect because you're perfect. And I'm so in love and I am so afraid. Because I am no supposed to feel so completely unshattered and I do not know how to be okay.
I like you.
I like you a lot.
You make me feel all warm and fuzzy and give rise to me saying dumb girly things like, "I feel warm and fuzzy."
