Bristol Archive Records is a record label dealing in Bristol post punk 1977 onwards.
We aim to showcase music from the diverse Bristol Music scene and provide a historical account / document of all things Bristol that should never be forgotten. Many of the artists and releases are rare, unknown or never before released. The material has been lovingly digitally remastered from vinyl, ¼ inch tape, dat or cassette. The original vinyl releases would generally have been limited to runs of 1000 copies or less.
We would like to thank the original label owners and/or the artists for allowing us to share with you their forgotten works and provide a statement of how brilliant bands have always been from the city of Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Enjoy and never forget the talented ones from the past,
they deserve to be recognised & remembered.
The Scorpion Shoulder Assembly is an all-in-one shoulder pad system for an in-line Zacuto DSLR Baseplate kit. It is best used for traditional ENG style shooting with our EVF or a small monitor. It includes a curved silicone gel shoulder pad, adjustable top handle, and rods to connect the entire assembly to the back of your Zacuto DSLR Baseplate as well as rods to add a counterbalance weight, such as our Z-Lite. The curved form-fitting Akton Polymer pad is a unique design built for ultimate comfort. The pad cushions your shoulder and positions a counterbalance low down behind your shoulder to counteract the weight in the front, resulting in a tremendously comfortable rig, perfect for long shoots. The entire assembly can also be articulated in multiple directions thanks to the built in innovative ball joint feature at the front of the pad. Adjusting the angle of the pad is extremely important for individual comfort. Another great feature is the built in top handle. The handle is great for taking your rig on and off of your shoulder, low mode shooting and easy carrying. The handle can be custom positioned up or down into the pad itself with the turn of a lever. The pad assembly connects to the back of the Zacuto DSLR Baseplate via (2) 2” M/F rods. These rods screw into the back of the baseplate and connect to the shoulder pad itself via 15mm quick release ports. This quick release system allows you to quickly switch from handheld to tripod. The shoulder assembly also includes (2) 3.5” M/F rods in the back so you can easily add any 15mm accessory for counterbalance such as our Z-Lite or Zwiss Plate (with a battery plate and pro brick batteries facing away from the pad). The amount of counterbalance you add in the back is determined by the amount of weight you have in front. The Scorpion Shoulder Pad assembly is not recommended for offset rigs like our Double Barrel kit. It is meant to be used for in-line rigs (like the Scorpion) where your eye is positioned in the EVF.
A long view along the assembly line -- there were over 25 individual process steps for each actuator.

May 15, 2019 - Frank Lloyd Wright's Wyoming Valley School. 6306 WI-23 Trunk, Spring Green, Wisconsin.
"In 1956 Wright donated two acres of land and a design for a small elementary school to the Wyoming Valley School District near Spring Green, WI.
The Wyoming Valley School was to be built in honor of his mother, Anna Lloyd Jones, a kindergarten teacher who had fostered Wright’s lifelong love of learning. The simple concrete-block structure was accented by a flat raised roof with clerestory windows, Wright’s signature Taliesin red floors, and large fireplaces at the center of the foyer and assembly room. In 1958 the school opened its doors to 46 students in grades 1-8. Though the building stood empty from 1990-2010, it was reopened in 2011 as a non-profit arts and cultural center. The Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center continues to foster Wright’s original educational mission with active programming, workshops, exhibits, performances and lectures." June 24, 2017 - The Spokes of the Wheel of Law represent the eight paths to enlightenment. "The Sera Great Assembly Hall (se ra tshogs chen), the largest of four large temples, was built by the Mongolian ruler of Tibet, Lhazang Khan (lha bzang khan, d. 1717). Tradition has it that he also commissioned the construction of the huge Maitreya statue housed inside the temple as a way of expiating the sin he committed by murdering the regent of the Fifth Dalai Lama, Desi Sanggyé Gyatso (sde srid sang rgyas rgya mtsho, 1653-1705).
Before 1959 the monks of Sera met in the Great Assembly Hall only at specific times and for specific purposes: certain sponsored rituals, monastic discipline (vinaya) rituals, specific debates – for example, the “great lineage debates” (rigs chen) – or for some examinations for the geshé (dge bshes) degree. On a day-to-day basis monks met principally in their individual college assembly hall. Today, however, since the number of monks in the monastery has declined significantly, the colleges have, in effect, consolidated, and all of the monks meet together for almost all functions in the Great Assembly Hall.
The lachi (bla spyi), literally “society of lamas” (defunct in Tibet, but still preserved in India), was administered by “the council of ten lamas” (bla kha bcu). Its membership included the four abbots (the abbots of the three colleges and the honorary stod pa abbot), the chant master (dbu mdzad), the two Great Assembly disciplinarians (zhal ngo), the “residence leader” (gzim khang sde pa, who had the privilege of living on one of the top floors of the Great Assembly Hall and served for a three-year term, with the position rotating between the three colleges), and the two financial officers (spyi so), who were responsible for fiscal matters. This “council of ten” met in a special meeting hall on the upper floor of the Great Assembly Hall" Previous text from the following website: www.thlib.org/places/monasteries/sera/spaces/map/
